I enjoyed the different connections each book brought forth. The writer shows us love chooses you don't choose it. It also teaches you, you may miss out on something great by following preconceive rules others have put over you. While I like the stories, the narration was missing something. Don't get me wrong I like his voice just not for these books. Therefore, I have to say it’s in my top 15 listens.
I don’t want to give too much of the plot away but I will
explain a little more about. The First two books follow brothers who lost their
parents at a young age to a car accident. Aidan the oldest doesn’t feel the car
accident was really an accident. Therefore, he takes it upon himself to find
the truth. Once his brother is old enough to care for himself he leaves to find
the truth.
Derek (Aidan’s brother), being a type of hermit, meets his
mate when she comes to stay at his little getaway cabins. However, he fights it
because the rules are clear and she is off limits. But life and love doesn’t follow
rules; so a decision must be made or have a future of longing and pain.
Book 3 brings Jamie story to the forefront; He is Aidan’s
boss and a very secretive man. He allows the past to have a hold on his mind,
heart, and soul, which fills his life with little happiness but much despair. His
story was a true F&%K you to the rules!

Overall, I truly enjoyed this series I'm hoping for more.
Like, I said earlier the voice of the narrator is missing something. I think
that something is the accent as this is taking place in Scotland. However, I
would recommend giving this series a try.
